This is a small, beautifully detailed medal of Our Lady of Fatima with the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the reverse side. Measuring 1/2 inch in height, this medal is die-cast for exceptional detail, and silver oxidized with a rich, three-dimensional silver plated finish as only the Italians in the central region of Italy have perfected.
Our Lady of Fátima is a Roman Catholic title of the Blessed Virgin Mary based on apparitions reported to be experienced by three shepherd children at Fátima. The three children were Lúcia Santos and her cousins Jacinta and Francisco Marto. The vision is also referred to as Our Lady of the Rosary because the children said the vision called herself the "Lady of the Rosary" and she appeared holding a rosary. The Queen of Heaven and Earth and patroness of purity of mind, heart, body, and soul.
