Vintage P.C.A. pottery jug made in the USA. PCA stands for Paden City Artware, which is a pottery company that operated in Paden City, West Virginia from 1914 until 1963. They produced assorted specialty stoneware items including ashtrays, bells, vases, and pitchers but were best known for their jugs. This piece was made as a souvenir for the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington D.C. The jug is a pencil holder to be used on a desk. It is marked with "Pencil Parking" in gold lettering. There are also gilded details on the rim, handle and around the top. The base of the jug is a cream stone color and the top is blue. The bottom of the jug is stamped "P.C.A. Handcrafted Made in USA". There is one small chip along the rim but it is worn smooth so it may be a manufacturer defect.

Measurements:
