Vintage Aluminum Saint Benedict Devil Chasing Medals - 5 Pieces
SKU: 11891Vintage aluminum St Benedict sacramental devil chasing medals that I found at various estate sales. Each varies slightly from the next but they are all approximately the same size. The medals are small and lightweight and show some signs of age and wear (please see all photos for condition). There is a jump ring attached to the bail of each so they can easily be added to a necklace chain. You will receive all five medals pictured.
He is the patron of architects, coppersmiths, the dying, Europe, farmworkers, monks, servants, spelunkers; those invoked against gallstones, poison, and witchcraft.
The Saint Benedict Medal is one of the oldest and most honored medals used by Catholics. Due to the belief in its power against evil the medal is also known as the "devil-chasing medal". The reverse side of the medal carries the Vade retro satana ("Step back, Satan") formula which has been used by Catholics to ward off evil since the 15th century.

Canada: We offer two flat rate options for shipping. You can choose which works best for you during the checkout process. Your package will ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) until it arrives in Canada. It will then be delivered by Canada Post.
