Two vintage Holy Land souvenir cards that were printed in Palestine in 1938.

The larger card has flowers from Jerusalem glued to the front beneath an image of Jesus Christ. The front of the card is inscribed with "Alleluja Jerusalem". The back of the card is inscribed with "Emlekül A Szent Foldröl 1938 Junius 5 Rev. Fr. Tanos" which translates from Hungarian to "In Memory of the Holy Land June 5, 1938". It is also marked "Made in Palestine" in the lower right corner.

The smaller card also has flowers from Jerusalem glued to it beneath an image of the Blessed Virgin Mary holding infant Jesus. The front of the card is inscribed with "Memento Jerusalem" and "Flores Terrae Sanctae Positum SupraSS. Sepulchrum D.N.J.C." which roughly translates from Latin to "Flowers of the holy land set above the Sepulcher of our Lord Jesus Christ". The very bottom of the card is inscribed with "Placed on the Holy Sepulchre". The back of the card is marked "Souvenir of Jerusalem June 5th 1938 Rev. Fr. Tanos Made in Palestine".

Both cards show signs of age and wear but are in good condition for being 71 years old. They are both missing some of the flowers that were glued to the front. The paper has also darkened from age (please see all photos). They have a slightly musty scent to them from being stored in a book for many years. You will receive both cards.

Measurements:
The larger card is 4-5/8" long x 3" wide
The smaller card is 4-1/8" long x 2-3/8" wide
