Tiny Miraculous Mary Star Shaped Charm - Compass Rose Stella Maris Medal
SKU: CM178ATiny and delicate Miraculous Mary medal that is shaped like a star with eight sides which makes it an interesting and unusual addition to jewelry or other small projects. This silver oxidized medal is imported from Italy and ready to be used in your next jewelry design.
The eight pointed star shape of this medal can be interpreted as a rose compass (also known as a wind rose, rose of the winds or compass star) which is used on nautical maps to display the orientation of the cardinal directions (north, east, south, and west) and their intermediate points. The Miraculous Medal in a compass rose is a reminder of Our Lady, Star of the Sea which is an ancient title for the Virgin Mary. The words Star of the Sea are a translation of the Latin title Stella Maris.
Also in Christianity, the 8-pointed star represents rebirth or resurrection. It is sometimes called the Star of Redemption or the Star of Bethlehem, and is associated with the birth of Jesus Christ.

Canada: We offer two flat rate options for shipping. You can choose which works best for you during the checkout process. Your package will ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) until it arrives in Canada. It will then be delivered by Canada Post.
